Location is great and easy to find rooms were clean and service was perfect.
We were immediately made to feel so at home and comfortable that I surprised myself being at ease. Both owners went far out of their way to make us comfortable and happy. We took our 7yo foster son with us as well and he was thrilled and treated exceptionally well. We will be going back! It isnt just a stay it is a relationship experience you get here!!!
What an absolute treasure Lost Forest B&B is! I had passed it several times before on trips to West Virginia and had always wondered about it, as it's located inside of the George Washington National Forest. I had the chance to visit June 2017 for a weekend with some friends, and we still talk about how much fun it was.
Highly, highly recommend this special place! (Although I'm hoping it doesn't get too, too popular :-) )
Rebecca and Grayson are the most welcoming and generous hosts one can ask for. They truly wanted to make sure that we were comfortable, happy, and well-fed. And they certainly did that well! Breakfast consisted of beautiful apple pastries, fresh fruit, and anything else one could want. It was apparent that Grayson was very talented, and after many questions, I finally learned that he had been a chef in Vegas. Where else can you have a chef of that caliber cook breakfast for you in West Virginia?!
Highly recommend! This B and B was comfortable, quiet and clean. The hosts, Grayson and Rebecca, are so friendly. They go above and beyond to make guests feel welcome. The meals were absolutely amazing! Some of the best food I've ever had.
The home and rooms were clean, comfortable, and had all the amenities that you could possibly need. However, not much time was spent inside, as the porch had an absolutely wonderful view and plenty of animals to watch - from Tush the hen, to the ducks, to the super sweet dogs.
This is a fantastic B&B, surrounded by the George Washington Nat'l Forest in West VA, just 2 hours west of DC. Leave time to hike on the property, roast marshmallows at night, see the goats and ducks on the farm next door. Getting an evening meal is an extra charge, but a fantastic cook and super hosts. An A++ B&B.
